The first show of the year in Marion, IL was a big success! I had shared pictures the crochet portion of our set up to a few Facebook groups I’m in, and holy cow did they take off!
I spent a few days updating the comments as much as I could, but after about 1000 (combined) I needed a Facebook break!
I prepared for our show all through the month of December, January, and up to the night of the show, and managed to fill a 55 gallon tote to the brim! … It sounds like overkill, but golly I sold half of just that tote alone! So now begins the next steady trek to the next show… in just a few days!
The prep was due to a quick succession of back-to-back shows until this Summer, all of them with ~3 week break in between. I don’t think I prepared enough, because I’m feeling the crunch! I got a bit of a delay on restocking too… as I got an order in for 20 keychains for one person, and 6 for another! Gah!
It’s all in fun though, and I’ve been having a blast! I am hoping to find time (somewhere?!) to finalize some of my patterns and get them posted onto my Ravelry. Venonat is the newest baby to add to the ever-growing self made pattern list, and I’m stinkin’ proud!
I think I also decided that I just want to post them for free there. It gives me warm fuzzies to share… and I wouldn’t be able to make half the cute things I do without other free patterns!
Ill still post on Etsy tho… for the non-google-savvy folks. 😉 lol
Thanks for visiting!
