The Benton Comic Con … and Beyond!

Posted on:

So each year we really look forward to the Benton Comic Con! It’s right in our vicinity (6 mi!) and we get to see a lot of friendly faces while we work. We went in as restocked as we could after nearly selling out at the Eclipse Con. We also had some new items to offer, such as goodie grab-bag style mystery purses, new pin styles, and a few PokΓ©mon that haven’t been made as often as others. And after about 8 hours . . . we got wiped out! When it comes to the price of the space, the […]

Eclipse Con – Most excellent experience!

Posted on:

So the first weekend in April found us attending our first ever Saluki Con – dubbed Eclipse con this year. It was amazing! From set up to break down, we had an excellent experience as vendors, and we think attendees had quite the bit of fun too! We set up late Friday evening with a table full of goodies. The show started Saturday at 10:00 AM, and by 1:00 PM we were starting to wonder if we would have enough products to make it to the end of the day … nevermind the next day! After the show at 5:00PM, […]

Clarksville-Con, Come and gone!

Posted on:

So March 16th was our eagerly anticipated Clarksville Con! It is a long drive for us each way, but the trip is always worth it. Unfortunately no pictures of our table were able to be snapped, as the Con is usually in a small ball room in a hotel, and when I say I was trapped… I was trapped! Once behind the table, I couldn’t get out… and my neighbors had to crawl under their tables! It’s a doozy, for sure. I still enjoyed our time there though! We met lots of awesome people, saw tons of neat costumes, and […]

First show of the year!

Posted on:

The first show of the year in Marion, IL was a big success! I had shared pictures the crochet portion of our set up to a few Facebook groups I’m in, and holy cow did they take off! I spent a few days updating the comments as much as I could, but after about 1000 (combined) I needed a Facebook break! I prepared for our show all through the month of December, January, and up to the night of the show, and managed to fill a 55 gallon tote to the brim! … It sounds like overkill, but golly I […]

Shroomish – A new grumpy companion!

Posted on:

This new little fella has been being worked on for about a week now, with pattern writing, figuring up how it will work, and then making a nice pattern version for the Etsy store! This is a paid-only pattern for now! πŸ™‚ Shroomish will be available for sale at our cons going forward! Our next one is in February, so if you want him to be your personal grumpy friend, be sure to swing by!

Oshawott makes his debut!

Posted on:

Another day (week?) another design! Actually… I’ve made two, but the other is still in its final finishing stages. For now though, here is little Oshawott! I wrote it up last night based on a photo I saw, and then re-tested it to see if I wrote the pattern correctly, and voila! Ill be working on making the pattern super fancy and whatnot, but for now I’ll be adding it to the free patterns section just listing the text-based instructions. Enjoy! πŸ™‚

A new way to love Sylveon!

Posted on:

Hey hey! So making sleepy/tuckered out Pokemon is a favorite of mine, and I decided to try my hand writing down a pattern for Sylveon, and I personally think it came out great! Over the next week or so I intend to ‘officially’ write the pattern down from my chicken-scratch notes, and work on the others in the Eevee-lution set. The hope is to offer the patterns as a bulk group together, with one or two freebies added in! πŸ˜‰ Check back for those soon!

Another Day, Another Pattern

Posted on:

Today I’ve listed my second pattern! On Etsy it’s $2, but after fees… basically free. Which means I’ll be posting this one in our free patterns section! It might take me a day or so … but it’ll be there eventually! πŸ™‚ Since this is my second go at making a pattern, I feel I went a bit faster, despite having to make 2 of the same pattern, so that I could include a shiny version! πŸ™‚ If you’re here on the site, why not give it a try as the first free pattern!
