The Benton Comic Con … and Beyond!

So each year we really look forward to the Benton Comic Con! It’s right in our vicinity (6 mi!) and we get to see a lot of friendly faces while we work. We went in as restocked as we could after nearly selling out at the Eclipse Con.

We also had some new items to offer, such as goodie grab-bag style mystery purses, new pin styles, and a few Pokémon that haven’t been made as often as others.

And after about 8 hours . . . we got wiped out! When it comes to the price of the space, the distance we have to travel, and the ease of set up . . . this was the best show we had done. Ever.

So while that is wonderful . . . where does that leave us now?
With so very few things in stock and our general dislike for all things Summer (heat, bugs from hell, humidity . . . heat) we decided to take a short break and restock back up so that we can be prepared for autumn and winter shows. At this time we do not have any shows 100% with certainty lined up, but we do intend on going to a Black Friday event in Mt. Vernon at the mall, and then the Christmas vendor fair at the Du Qoin state fair grounds for 3 weeks in December. Dates and times for those are still TBD.

Don’t fret though if you still would like to get your hands on a plushie! 618 Artisans in Benton has reached out to us and would like us to stock up a shelf or two in their store. Commissions are also open for the taking!
Last but not least, I am taking the time to write new patterns and get them posted! For instance, my newest pattern!

As mentioned on the front page, I would like to make my patterns free for all to use going forward. Sharing is caring, after all! Don’t forget to come back and check on any new updates as more patterns will be coming out, as well as our upcoming shows once they get set in stone!
